Dear ATVC: What is the difference between the Kawasaki KFX 700 and KVS 700? wfomph

The difference is only a matter of labeling depending upon which part of the world you call home. In the United States, Kawasaki’s label for their 697cc V-Twin “V-Force” has been KFX throughout its entire production span while the letters KVS are used to identify the same machine in countries such as South Africa.

If this weren’t confusing enough, it turns out the model can also be identified by a third designation in different markets (such as parts of Europe); where it goes by Kawasaki KVX 700.

The bottom line is all of these designations refer to the same machine and are readily interchangeable labels on sites like eBay where the market is global.
