Ask the Editors: ATC Seat Pan Blues
The 125M ATC.

Dear ATVC: I’m in the process of restoring a 125M and discovered there is nothing left of the seat pan. I found a few on eBay but they are missing chunks of metal and are priced thru the roof! I’m honestly surprised in this day in age that no one produces a fiberglass replacement but I digress. Does any one have any suggestions? I’d hate to abandon this ATC project over a seat pan.

We have some spectacular news for you.. Someone has indeed followed OEM spec for the similar, but more popular ATC110 pan but produced it in fiberglass. As you theorized in your query – the 110 is compatible with either some slight modification to the pan or by leaving the pan alone and running the plastics off a 110.

The only downside is price – a brand new fiberglass replacement will set you back $98.50 but like they say: constructed from hand laid fiberglass, the pan will never rust and likely outlast your ATC.
