Ask the Editors: Help Me Track Down OEM Suzuki Parts
A grippy situation.
Dear ATVC: I have an 05 Suzuki Eiger 400 that one of my kid’s friends decided to see could win against a tree. I need to repair part of it and have identified the part needed (front grip). However, everywhere I’ve checked has to order it from Suzuki and they are on back-order indefinitely. At this point I’m open to used parts. Looking for suggestions on where to look.

Even if they did not, check the compatibility list on the page – items like bar grips are great in that dozens upon dozens of models and years share the same OEM part as neither Suzuki (not any brand) wants to start up a whole new assembly line to manufacturer a part for only one model or year.
And if the dozens of OEM Suzuki models weren’t enough to pick from, the aftermarket is chock full of compatible units that often perform as well as if not superior to the stockers for less money. Here is just one example.
