ATV Industry Facts: Did You Know?

BRP has conquered dirt and snow. Next stop? Water!

We here in the off-road game know BRP group through their ATV/ SxS brand Can-Am but BRP is a North American conglomerate with a whole bunch of interesting brands on their spreadsheet.

Some of the other notables include Ski-Doo Snowmobiles, Sea-Doo Watercraft, Evinrude Outboard Engines, Rotax Engines, Alumacraft Boats, and Lynx Snowmobiles.

In effort to expand their Marine Group efforts, BRP has just acquired Triton Industries, Inc., manufacturer of the Manitou pontoon boat brand. Manitou employs approximately 160 people and has a network of around 150 dealers across Canada and the US.

Bonus Fact: BRP’s Marine Group is still young, with the company having only just purchased Alumacraft Boat, the premiere private North American manufacturer of aluminum fishing boats (out of St. Peter, Minnesota) last month.
