ATV Industry Facts: Did You Know?

It’s a social media world.

Love it or hate it, social media has become a staple of our industry. Not only is it a valuable tool for manufacturer marketing and a link between fellow hobbyists, it looks like it can be used to (hopefully) thwart criminal activity as well.

When a power-sports dealership up in Windsor got hit with a breaking and entering recently that resulted in the theft of three valuable machines (two side-by-sides and a quad) valued at $50,000, the owner turned to the one place he knew fellow enthusiasts could potentially help: Facebook.

While the suspects in the case are still at large, his video has amassed close to 65,000 views and counting (we’ll plug it in below). We may be biased but we like to think the off-road community is a close-knit one. Hopefully the missing property is located and returned to its rightful owner.
