The first company in the world to successfully electroplate onto aluminum substrates, WI’s own US Chrome has plated well over 1,000,000 cylinder bores since 1979. Perhaps even more amazing, the company has been in the plating industry since 1940!

While their NiCom process is endorsed by performance racing icons such as Mercury Marine, GM/Corvette Racing, RK Tek, Racin Station, Marchbank/Boyd Racing, MCB Performance, Sled Head Racing to mention a few, they plate new ATV cylinders and repair old ones.
Their technique is proven to increase durability and performance of both utility task vehicles (UTvs) and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). NiCom plating can withstand prolonged temperatures as high as 1200°F (540°C).
Bonus Fact: The company also buys used, worn and damaged plated cylinders for cash money or as credit to their services.
