Noleen Ride Height Tool: Because Setting Sag Shouldn’t Make You Sad
Here at ATV Connection we never know what we’ll be testing next. It can be anything from an ATV to a knit hat to well, a folding ruler. In the event that you think we’re exaggerating, read on.
What is it?
The Quad Ride Height Tool from Noleen Racing is, in its simplest form, a self-standing ruler designed to measure the ride height of your ATV in effort to determine your sag setting.
How does it work?
Well about as simple as setting the unit beside your ATV and turning the dial until the tab reaches the bottom of your quad’s frame. Contrary to common misconception, your most accurate point of measurement in determining ride height is indeed the ATV’s bottom frame spar, not at the seat, fenders or handlebars.
What stands out?
In a word: Simplicity! Measuring the ride-height of your ATV is not rocket-science, but it often takes multiple people and some unique positioning of all involved. The Quad Ride Height Tool eliminates a lot of the stress by standing on it own. Plus the dial system used to raise/ lower the measurement tab in infinitesimal increments goes a long way in determining accuracy.
It works with any and every size ATV in the world. We like that the unit can be folded up to fit into a toolbox as well.
Any bad news?
A little- first at $99.95, a lot of riders will save themselves some coin and simply use a yard stick or measuring tape to accomplish the same task. Also, and we’re not sure why, it seems like the item is backordered just about everywhere you look. Fortunately Noleen’s official site has the units in stock.
