Bill Pointer from Quad Tech-ATV makes some of the trickest high quality carbon fiber and aluminum performance parts for ATV’s.

Quad Tech-ATV was created in 1996 by Pro World Champion Personal Watercraft Racer “Wild Bill” Pointer after his ATV was featured in an ATV magazine. Quad Tech ATV started as a hobby, building Carbon Fiber parts for the greatest ATV of all time, the TRX250R. Practicing and racing on the watercraft National Tour was very time consuming and filling orders for Quad Tech in a timely fashion was difficult.

At the end of the 1999 watercraft season, “Wild Bill” decided it was time to hang up the wetsuit and concentrate full time on bringing high quality carbon fiber and aluminum performance parts to the public. And also to provide better support to his growing list of sponsored pro riders.

Bill makes a wide variety of carbon fiber products for the Hondaundefined TRX250R, TRX400EX and the Yamaha Banshee, like the ultra trick looking gas tank cover and front hood. If you are looking to hide your faded gas tank the carbon fiber covers add a great look to the ATV. They are made for either the stock tank or the IMS 3.6 gallon desert tank. Installation is easy. You install the provided extra thick rubber gas cap seal into the gas cap then slide the tank cover over the tank and put your gas cap on. The gas cap and the velcro straps on your plastic hold the tank cover firmly in place. The hood piece replaces the stock hood and is installed the same as the stock hood. Both of these items add a very clean look to your ATV. The tank cover for the IMS gas tank retails for 8 and the hoods range from 5 to 0 depending on the model of ATV.

undefinedOne of Bills newer products is the carbon fiber radiator scoops. The scoops are also easily installed. They mount the same as the stock air scoops but have rubber flaps between the inside edge of the scoops and the radiator, thus forcing all the incoming air toward the radiator without letting any get by.

We are used to having the aluminum radiator scoops, but with the darker color of the carbon fiber it added a “stealthy” look to the entire quad. The carbon fiber radiator scoops retail for 0.

Another new product is the carbon fiber full glide plate. It extendsundefined from the bottom of the front bumper back to behind the motor. Having a glide plate in the dunes is very handy for cresting steep razor backs. When you crest a razor back the bottom of the ATV tends to drag in the sand, without a full glide plate the quad would want to “stick” in the sand whereas, with the glide plate it would “glide” smoothly over the top. This glide plate is very durable and holds up well in the desert and woods where rocks like to come out of nowhere! It will protect your very expensive engine cases and your frame from being scratched. The Quad Tech-ATV full glide plate weighs half of the other aluminum plates and adds a great finishing touch to your pride and joy. The carbon fiber full glide plate retails for 0.

undefinedQuad Tech-ATV also makes carbon fiber rear master cylinder guards for the Honda 250R and custom made seat covers for all brands. The rear master cylinder guard is light weight and protects the expensive parts from being damaged. The seat covers come in all colors for all ATV’s. Contact Bill for your application. The master cylinder guard retails for and the seat cover retails for 5.

Overall, the carbon fiber parts and seat cover look extremely trickundefined and add a “stealthy” look to the Honda TRX250R. Check out Quad Tech-ATV’s web page for all of their products, including a tank cover and trick looking side panels with a gas switch hole built in for the 400EX, custom made wheels and aluminum case saver and reed spacer.
