VP SEF94 Race Fuel
We may hate doing it but for many of us several months of parking our poor ATV in the back of the shed, garage or in the backyard under a tarp for many months of winter is a fact of life.
If you’re like us you probably meant to drain the fuel tank before parking it but simply didn’t get around to it before that first snowfall hit. When spring rolls around that former tank full of healthy gasoline has likely degenerated into something better served stripping paint from wood or replicating a shot of whiskey in the wild west. What it doesn’t do is flow well though injector nozzles or carburetor jets, a situation even further compounded by the fact that pump gasoline containing ethanol often makes such equipment difficult, if not impossible, to start even when fresh.
The reason for this is that ethanol, like most alcohols, has a tendency to absorb moisture. If there’s one area you don’t want moisture it’s deposited in your machine’s carburetor and fuel systems.
Enter VP Racing Fuel’s latest concoction, SEF94. SEF means small engine fuel and 94 refers to its octane rating. SEF94 contains no ethanol, making it a much more dependable and cost-effective solution for engines that don’t require race fuel.
The unique properties of SEF94 also make it an excellent long-term storage fuel, allowing quick starts even after equipment sits idle for many months.
