Hi,
I am new to the forum, mostly worked on motorcycles. I did find a post regarding tuning the carb from "too many toys", great post.
I purchased a new chinese 110cc mini quad for my son. However it runs very poorly bogging out at 1\4 to 1\2 throttle.
The is running to rich, i can tell from the smell of unburnt fuel.
Normally, the idle screw has a spring on it but these 2 screws on this carb are flat with springs inside, very strange.
I have a picture of the bike and carb but donot know how to add it to this post, any help is much appreciated.
thanks

To add a photo to this site is easy just click on the "My Page" up towards the top of this forum page and then go to edit. Then to post it here copy the pic's location and paste it in the post with [img][/img] on each side of it! The Idle screw should be the one on the right side of the carb (as mounted to atv). Sounds as if you need to adjust your needle by lowering or raising the clip (not sure which) but if you look through my older posts about my 150's I had to do the same back almost a year ago!

Thanks for the reply and help.
Here is a picture of the carb. I believe the idle screw is the top and the air screw is to the left next to the air filter.

Thankyou for the help!
I will change the spark plug to the recommended NGK and try to make some carb adjustments later this weekend.
I have the "too many toys" post, if it is not too much trouble, do you have the link to the post about the 150's?
I will continue to search for it...
