I had a rather unexpected problem with my kid's ATV this weekend... the carb neck just broke completely off! >>>See pics below<<<
No reason for this to have happened other than poor quality metal casting.

Now my problem is that Jetmoto USA does not have the replacement part and doesn't sound very optimistic about getting one.
Does anyone have any ideas where I might be able to find a replacement?
The retailer I purchased from doesn't have parts. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The application is a Jetmoto Alpine 125cc Utility Hummer ~2008 or 2009.
The OEM neck has the markings 'ZJ' '40B' on one side and 'X52603' on the other side.

Well that sucks!! I would try getting a hold of the TaoTao folks and see if they have one..Their mini quads are very similar and are even made in the same town as the Jetmoto/Alpines. I have heard that the factory Jetmoto uses has not paid their bills so no suppliers in China will ship them parts.. Not a real good position to be in today..

haroldpo6 - After I posted this last night, I went on to discover that there are many carb necks available on eBay. Problem is that it is difficult to tell which will work for my application. I'm exchanging dimensions with several eBay vendors and I think I may have found one or two that will work.

Ebay is a good choice for new and used Chinese ATV parts. Once you find one that works be sure to post your source..If you need one, Id guess a few others will need one too..

 

thats a very common problem...buy 2 or figure out a way to make a support for the carb to take the pressure and stress from bouncing off the carb. it will take a few beers and some engineering but it can be done and will work.

 

I purchase a good majority of my ATV parts from kazumapartsonline. I just got through checking and they do show an intake for your ATV.
