Default High idle 250cc
Im havin trouble with my 250 atv, i get it started but it has a high and violently loud idle. Ive messed wit the idle screw but nothins happenin. Any ideas what it is and what i can do?

check to see if the throttle is sticking in the carb or cable binding if not maybe a vaccumn leaak at the carb spacer

Just had the same problem after rebuilding my carb, turns out I installed the slider in backwards. have you worked on it before this happened? Just a thought
