Default brakes stuck

I recently removed the rear axle from my kids Gio 110 and while figuring out how to get it back on I let out some brake fluid. I eventually got it back on and bled the lines of air.

Now after squeezing the brake a few times the brake is "stuck". That is, it is squeezing the rotor a bit enough to be a problem.

How can I adjust this and set the brake up properly?

Did you loose brake fluid by letting the pads compress together without the disc in between them?

I did lose some brake fluid, but topped it up.

Its how you lost the brake fluid Im concerned with...If the pads got pressed together(with no disc in between them) one of the pistons could have gotten pushed out to far and now is jammed..

The reason I lost brake fluid is tha I didn't know what I was doing! I pulled the rear brake off the rotor so that I could get the rear swing arm on my work bench and try to remove what was left of the bushings. When I went to put it back on the brake pads were closed up and I couldn't fit them over the rotor. I thought letting out some brake fluid would help. I eventually opened it up and put it back on, then topped on the brake fluid resevoir.

My sons rear foot brake on his atv will stick sometimes to the point of causing a problem.. Theirs a rod with a few nuts located on it.. You can turn that rod to loosen up the rear brake..
