I got it out today, hasn't been started for a year or more. Started it with starting fluid, but it quickly died, after running off the spray of fluid, Im sure. So, drained tank and carb. Put some fresh gas in tank, started up and idled for 10 minutes, so I killed it. Filled it with gas and an ounce or 2 of Seafoam. Now it only starts with starting fluid, runs for a minute or so and dies. It will do this over and over. The only thing different was the extra gas with Seafoam. Seafoam is great stuff, but what could have done this? I will buy a new spark plug tomorrow. Taking kids on a trip tomorrow, hope this is a quick fix. Thanks for the help...

 

The carb needs to be taken apart and be cleaned..
