Hello, I just got a toa toa ata 250e and was wondering what quick upgrades I can do to make the quad run better like what ngk model spark plug to swithch over to. also how long would it take before the fan kicks in as I ran it at a stand still for 10 min with no fan action, I tested the fan and it works so maybe its a faulty sensor or 10 min is not a long enough time? I also changed the batery that helped alot. It is bogging down at half throttle even with tires lifted off ground it may be the plug I put good gas in. any info would be very much apreciated

No idea on the fan...the only quad I have with a fan on it turns by a switch.

 

Hello, thanks for the info on the spark plug. I put a new one in and it ran better but after 10min of run time I checked the plug and it was black again! what does this mean? and please how can I adjust or fix this? I hope its not a seal inside, maybe because I tuned the screw on the carb (I think) right after the air filter to try and find a sweet spot at idle. any info on all possible causes for a new plug to turn black and info on how to correct please

 

it's running rich. needs to be adjusted on the mixture screw to lean it up a little bit. read the sticky thread on the chinese quads forum to get the scoop.
