Is your battery weak? Try jumping the quad battery to your car (be extra careful to get the polarity right - negative to negative, positive to positive). Does the starter turn now?
If not, get a meter and measure the DC voltage from the starter terminal (right on the starter motor) to the frame of the starter motor. Do this while the solenoid is "clicked". What do you measure?
In a PM to you asked if there is supposed to be a wire from the solenoid to the starter motor. Yes, there should be a heavy gauge wire from the second solenoid post (the first post connects to the battery). There should also be a heavy gauge wire from the battery negative terminal to frame ground on the engine.

if an atv starter is like an automobile starter, you can pull it, put it on the ground, hook up jumper cables to the terminals and it should spin. have you jumped across the solenoid with a screwdriver to see if she'll crank/spin the starter?

i get nothing when i jump silinoid no sparks-no nothing like i dont do nothing .have 12 volts going to silinoid and 12 volts going to starter when you push start button.that means siliniod is good right .dont know to much about this electrial. any help is appreciated thanks to all.

i'm no expert, just a shadetree, but by chance is the neutral light illuminated? i'm unsure if the brake light/lever needs to be engaged to show the logic that it will not move if started. i'll do some more checking.

But if you had a frozen engine the stalled starter would draw enormous current, and you would see sparks galore when you shorted across the solenoid.
Check your measurents again (it never hurts to double check), then if you get the same results your starter motor is bad. Before buying a new one I would remove the old one, take it apart and see it anything obvious is amiss that is fixable.
