Have you tried replacing the battery? I just went through the same thing. The battery showed 100% charged but all it did was click (starter solenoid engaging) I replaced the battery and it fired right up. Also test the starter that you just replaced. I have got bad ones before. Luckily I have a shop that deals with chinese quads close by.

load check/test battery--replace if necessary, jump solenoid to verify key/start button operation, check fuses. if the starter is out on the ground. test it. check all electrical connections. battery to leads, solenoid terminals, terminals on starter. and last of all, ground wires. make sure acid levels are fine in battery. please don't get in a rush & buy all kinds of parts, if your car doesn't start, do you buy starters or check out the battery first? yep, start with the simple stuff: battery, fuses, wires to/from etc.... atvs are no different. holler back at us.

Good advice above.

Another thing you could try: Use jumper cables to jump the quad battery to your car (be extra careful to get the polarity right - Plus to Plus and Minus to Minus).

If your battery is duff then the starter will crank fine with jumper cables in place.

Now why does that make me think these guys are horribly expensive?

Go to walmart. Any 12 volt battery that fits is fine.

Jeez...
