Cool Custom Panther 110 Project

Whats up ATV Connection users?
I have this Panther 110 atv if im correct its a 2006??? ill check later and post the real year later.....
Well anyways its been sittin there for a year and ive only rode it like 2 days total time added within that year...and why you ask? well this is the story....
I had some neighbors that lived next to me and they had two Panther atvs one which is the one i have now and a 250 i think??? anyways they didnt kno how to work on them at all so i had to come over (pretty much everyday) to do something new on them.. The 110 had electrical problems because they wrecked it and ripped the body some pieces are missing as well and tail lights and headlamps all that was pretty my gone and it wouldnt start because they didnt know how to wire it well i took it for a few hours and i ripped all the wiring out (they didnt want lights or anything just for it to run) and i built a custom wiring harness from the key switch to the cdi to the ignition coil to the strator....its an electric start but they never had the push button on it cuz they had the starter wired straight to switch then battery...so then after all that they ride it so long that it ran out of oil and flames were shooting out of the oil fill ( they melted the cap) and they blew the tranny...so they told me if i raked the leaves in their yard i can have it and do whatever with...well obviously i have it lol so i found a little pocket bike motor which was a 110 manual so i had to custom build a clutch cable but little did i know that it was rigged long enough for my to ride it for like 2 days then it blew a hole next to the lower mounting bracket which was JB welded and painted black so was the motor so wasnt noticeable at all so its been sitting there since...
Well im having some extra money come in and i found a Horizontal Racing Lifan 150cc kick start with manual clutch 4 Speed 1D3UP and its oil cooled and im only paying 466.86 including shipping clutch cable and everything to do the conversion (cdi, ignition coil, wire harness, everything) so i was goin to put it in it will bolt up and everything so if you have any ideas or opinions let me know i was also going to hook up a Oil Pressure Gauge most likely a mechanical one since i dont really know if a digital will work or not..... I will also post pics of the quad before and after (also during the install). also i will need some ideas of what to call this project i have no idea i know right now that the atv look like a P.O.S. since the people wrecked it but i am going to buy a new body for it and instead of green im gettin black and im aslo going to design the graphics myself so like i said if you have any ideas about anything let me know

2 color impact colors are way cool on Modded bikes. Like orange and blue or yellow and blue, etc. Paint the frame a color rather than black or silver.

Adding a Lifan 150cc motor may be too big for the frame. Double check all measurements before ordering the engine. Also, double check all frame welds and make sure they are strong and not cracked. I would strip the bike and sandblast the frame, check welds and repair if needed, then repaint. 110cc body/frames are small and do not have a lot of clearance for engine mods.(or even carb mods)

Pictures help alot. For us and for you. Just make sure that before you buy a bunch of parts you make the necessary measurements, unless you can fabricate new mounts and possibly extend your frame.

Keep us posted.

im pretty sure the 150 will fit in it it is a horizontal engine instead of a vertical and its actually not a kids frame atv idk y but its actually pretty big for a 110 and the carb on the lifan sticks to the side instead of backwards or forwards so carb clearance is no prob either and ill try to post some pics but its really ugly right now because of the broken body and all the welds are perfect so im good on that as well..
