We have gotten our fist snow here in NJ this week, and my son, having been a Florida boy up until June, took the quad out to blast in the snow. Tonite I am told it jumps in second gear and he has to use 1st and 3rd. So I took a look at it, I got it started and put up on stands, Now it wont go in any gear and sounds like it's bogging in nutral. I also hear a noise in the trans and cant roll the wheels in nutral. I suspect he may shockloaded it going from the snow to the road. (even though he was warned.) Is this a common faiure? Could it be a clutch failure? It's a semi auto. How do I check the clutch, Do I have to pull engine and trans and split? Please help.....

Pulled engine and trans out checked clutch looks ok, I think He broke something in the trans....I'm a little reluctant to pull all apart. Are there any tricks? Does anyone have breakdown info or do's and don'ts on these? Trying to get up and running before Chrismas break is over.
