Default Panther problems.

My son's Panther 125UT is spewing oil out of the rubber over fill hose to the point that you can't see the oil in the check window. Also, the motor idles very high and " washes out" when you give it throttle. I checked the throttle cable, cleaned the carb, check the plug....everything looks good. Any advice would be appreciated.

ok, i'm not familiar with your model quad, but what overflow hose are you talking about? is it located on the end of the cylinder/piston? if it's there and shoving oil out, like my Gy6 did, you need rings. as far as your carb, i know you said you pulled it apart, but it sounds like you have an vagabond air leak AND your main jet is partially plugged if it "washes out"/bogs down. hmm.., maybe check compression for blowby problems.

The panther is made by Kazuma....thanks for the advice. The hose is a black rubber hose that hangs off the rear of the motor and allows the overflow to run onto the ground. Thanks again.

If you are pushing oil out that fast, either you have a plugged vent that is pressurizing the oil sump, or so much blowby from the piston rings that it pressurizes the crank case, blowing oil out any available vent hose.
