my project
#11
I have still been having a problem with climbing hills with my ATV. I ran it for a while to see if it was because of it sitting for so long. I decided to do a compression check this weekend and found the answer I was looking for. Cyl on left had 90psi and the right one had 60psi.

not good. So I put some Kano Kroil in the cyl and let them sit till Monday. went back down and ran another compression test. Left Cyl now has a constant 120 psi but the right is still at 60. I put a spoon full of oil in the right one and did another compression test. It went up to 90psi for one test then back to 60psi.
I know that I will need to rebuild the top half. my question is how deep into the lower half should I go. Do I need to pull the crank and bearings and check them.
