Default Correct mikuni carb for ATA-250D?

I've searched and can't find anything, so apologies if this has been answered.

I have a new TAOTAO ATA-250D and it runs like crap. I'd like to get a Mikuni carb for it but I am not sure of the correct model to purchase.

Any help much appreciated!

just bolting on a Mikuni may not make the bike run better. may make it run worse. best to just get the carb thats on it working. when I recieved the quad for my boy. right out of the crate the carb was messing up. I had to take it off about 5 times and tinker with it. works perfect now. all carbs need to be jetted. theres a good thread about carb jetting.

but if a mikuni is what you really want you just need to find the correct thraot diameter size that is comparable to the one thats on there. that way it will bolt right on to the manifold. mikuni is not cheap so you better do your research.

I'm also interested in this upgrade. Currently I have a PZ27 carb on my 250d ATV.

I found this one on amazon- ? Amazon.com: Mikuni 30mm Carburetor Carb 150cc 200cc 250cc ATV Dirt Bike Honda XR200R CFR XR 100 200 250: Automotive
Says" 30mm Intake Manifold ? Works with 44mm air filter"

Anyone know if that one will work?
