Default Plz help

Ok so i bought a 2006 Kazuma 110 redcat for my daughter for $200 i thought well it looks in good shape so why pass up. The guy i bought it from had someone pull him on it to get it to start and it did start. He said thats the only way he can get it to start but after you get it started that way it will start on its own afterwards. I bought a new carb and new coil but still cant get to start. It justs getting fuel and spark. Can someone plz help me

my neighbor's quad, different brand, was doing a similiar thing. we adjusted the valves and that fixed it.......hope this helps. other things might be starter RPMs, how bright is the spark? hmmm.

Thanks for the help. Could you tell me how to adjust the valves. The spark looked pretty good.

I agree with Jaster94 (once again ).

Hard to start (cold) 110cc engines should have the valve adjustment checked first. This is a required periodic maintenance procedure. If you search the internet you'll find lots of 110cc engine posts with "hard to start cold" that were solved with valve adjustment. My 150cc GY6 quad (and my neighbors quad) went through the exact same scenario at a little over 1000 miles (1 year). Hard to start cold, with no trouble at all when even slightly warm.

Youtube has videos on how to do this if you search for them. I have written procedures too. Send me your email address by private message if you want them.
