Agree
UNI has a cleaner and oil kit 2 cans think I paid 14 dollars for it.
It works pretty good for foam. (cant use it on a paper filter)
If you over oil the filter you have a hard time starting your vehicle the 1st time till it can pull air though.
I would not use gas - (saftey concerns being the main reason)
Dish soap will work as suggested it will cut grease/oil
You will still have to buy filter oil.
Good luck.
All this said if it is the stock filter I would replace it with a quality after market foam filter since it is better than stock.
E-bay or any online vendor will have what you need. Go to the MFG website and get the model number if necessary before you make the purchase.
