Thumbs up what quad do I have????

ok I have been reading untill what little hair I have left is starting to gray. I have a water cooled 250, quad, with a big handle on the right side to shift reverse and forward, it has both front and rear disc brakes, it also has twin headlights about three inches in diameterr maybe 2.5, they are sitting side by side, now it seems to me I can't be the only person in the entire You-nited "salute here son" States, who has this model even though ten bazillion chinese made 20 bazillion differant models. ( I would bet there is only one or two model 250 w/c with this headlight configuration) so here is where I be needing some ATV forum spas-cialist to help.
The carb bolts on, mine is missing, as in not here at all, I will keep looking for the electric choke wires if it does have electric choke is that the yellow button on the lower left switch under on and off and headlight control? or is that the starter button its raining down here so I couldn't see it very well.
Next is I need to order a seat, how do i go about that unless I know what the manuf is?? I don't have one to compare sooooo I need help on figuring one out. It almost apperas to be a Kazuma, but since its totally red with black foot rests I wanna say redcat, buuut those front discs threw me a little bit, so if you guys could help, I reeeeealy would appreciate it. If posting pics help I will need some clue as to how to do it.

Thanks red423

Default Thanks....

it's still early down here so i will try and take some pics in a while, I am also heading to a place called Mam ATV here in Miami as I don't see too many ATV parts places. Is it a hardship for these parts guys on the web to answer emails? I got one response out of seven emails over three days for parts requests, or is it my bad breath?

I'll try and post that pic under that user cp dealie....thanks red423

Default Ok try these I did an album upload

Ok here's where I need major help, I did the album upload of a few pics, so maybe someone can recognize this quad. I tried a new carb buuut I find out the thing doesn't fit, (standard 36mm, 250 carb) the guy tells me that they don't make a water cooled carb yet I have two small disconnected coolant lines right at the carb location.
I need a wiring schematic as this thing has gone from needs brakes and a carb to the last owner has cut the wiring to the indicator switch for shift location and removed the switch, as well as rear brake light wiring and a few other things.
I really need help figuring out what i have and where to get the PROPER replacement carb if still available. also I can do wiring if i had a diagram and a new switch, it just seems the thing still has some life to her and needs some TLC to live again, not a pair of side cuts and a wire stripper.
If anyone can check my album and let me know if they recognize anything or where I can get the carb I need, hey you ever get down here to banana land I'll buy you an ice tea, and personally take you to the beach to see all the sun tanned beauties you want to see.(this includes the ladies too,). thanks red423

How about a couple more pics from the side? That looks like a GY6 (scooter) style engine.. that is rare so it would be easier for someone (who knows what it is) to recognize it)

Default I just posted a couple more....

I am biting my nails as I really had hope to fix this thing and hit the trails with my grandson, but the more i keep checkin online I don't see a cable type throttle carb that has any water ports. That has me totally confused I see a manifold adapter for a mount but as far as what I have other than a loss, or a parts donor is bugging me to death.
I read on here of a guy who would gladly pay 50.00 for the challenge of fixing something up and making it work, which is what I saw when I got the thing but not knowing the make or where to look for the carb is a little challenging to say the least. I still got the 150 red on the side of the house to finish, so it's not like I didn't at least get one running today.
Thanks for the fast reply maybe we'll get lucky and someone knows what this thing is, the guy mentioned Tractor Supply, but we don't have them in Miami that I know of. red423

I just found my motor online its a linhai 260, problem is it takes a Linhai ca279 carb and the one place is wanting 179.95 which I think is waaaaayy to high. Come to find out htis engine was made by yahama for linhai, is there anyone out there who knows of a less expensive carb I can buy orrr the water line routing??? thanks red423

Default I just figured it out......

I have a Baja QJ 250, found it on here poking around that makes me feel so much better, now I need help locating parts. Mainly a carb, I see this one site atv##rts. c## all over with the same page after page for redcat kazuma, you name it but it's the same place and their parts rae high in price. I need help finding a carb for this quad as it is not a standard, but if i could adapt a newer intake and boot style maniflod instead of a bolt type I already have a carb. Any Ideas?????? thanks red423
