Default New Chinese ATV sales?

I was just wondering if anyone is buying new ATV's from Raceways, Jetmoto or V-bike or any online dealers nowadays? Back in 2007 when I bought our four Jetmotos they were selling like crazy, now I get the feeling sales are almost nonexistent! I see Jetmoto has not updated their ATV's or site since 2008 that is if they are even building and selling them at all. Raceway was one of the largest online chinese atv dealers but in the last few years I have heard of many people on here not being able to get through to them to buy new atv's or parts!
Dealers and manufacturers I remember are back then are Viva, Coolsport, Raceway, Rocketa, Kasuma, V-bike seemed to appear in 2008 or 2009 at least that is when they were first talked about on here.
So whats happening out there now??

Hi outofline..good to hear from you..

Most of the posts in the Chinese section now are about problems with used Chinese quads.. Only new ones I hear about now are Tao Tao quads.. and they are mostly 110cc kids quads.

Main Street MotorSport's is the sponsor of the Chinese section here now... looking over their site a bit shows Supermach and Linhai machines.. quads are 110-125cc and then 350-500cc utility quads.. no sport 200/250..

Hi MWQ, have you even talked with Eugene from Jet lately? I wonder if they are selling anything? I haven't needed to order a part for some time! Just took the two blue jets around the block, the blue 150 has an original Chinese gel filled battery and was still holding a good charge after not having been ran in two months. The blue 250 has a Napa and did start it for a bit but the 250 was running like crap and soon the battery died when I had to restart. But once jumped I rode the 250 around for a bit and it returned to it's ol self! Then after a successful little ride I broke a 150 tail light when I pulled the 250 onto the trailer! No big, lens tape will fix it, it'll now match the red 150!

Hey Outofline and MWQ, it's been a long time for me being on here.

I took a look at Vbike's site, since thats what I had, they have certainly had some price increases from when I bought mine in early 2008. I looked at a 350cc sport quad similar to the 250cc V4S that I had, they are asking $2450 for it, OUCH!!!!! They must be doing ok for sales, being as they are still in business.

Outofline thats great that your ATVs are holding up, got your moneys worth.

Hi guys I haven't been on the forum here for quite a while! I see its still active with atv isssues though which is good to see. I've been so busy with work and the kids sports that we haven't done much riding at all the last year or so other than around the farm. I have to get around to sell my little 110cc atv and 50cc motor bike. Kids don't use them but they did have the 110 out for some reason the other day. Still have the old Jet 150 but I hear a nut rattled off where it bolts the pipe to the head so I'll have to put one on for the kids when I get a chance.

The local big Chinese ATV dealer by me closed down last fall. Not sure if there is anymore in the city probably is. I see the Canadian Jetmoto distributor is still selling Jetmoto's but old stock though. He's selling the 250's for $1495.00 now I see online when at one time he was asking over 2000!! I'll probably keep my 150 jet another year or two. It still works fine (other than the plastic they busted up!!) but like I said the kids don't use them as much anymore.

Good to hear from you Coloradotrailrider and Sawyer

outofline, Ive had no communication with Eugene for about 3 years now... I think we talked 2 times after I came home from China.. Tried to get in contact with him a few times and never got a return call.. gave up about 15-18 mos ago...Heard he is selling neon clocks now...but still has limited Jetmoto parts for sale...

My Jetmoto's all still run and work well...only real problem is my 250's swing arm bushings are wasted... need to make some before it starts raining here..

Ive talked with Derek(Canadian Jetmoto dist) a few times since coming home.. He isnt happy with Jetmoto...

Jim at KidATV's doesnt sell Jetmoto's anymore.. he is selling Tao Tao's now.. He tells me he likes them a lot..

for some strange reason the gel battery that came with my 250 still works and has never needed a jump or charge... its sat for 4-6 mos at a time..

Sometimes I wonder what happened to the 350/400 I went to china for... then I remember the food, humidity, climbing all the stairs..and then I dont care anymore..

I bought my 250cc utility from V-bike back in '08 I think then a 300cc utility the next year. I got to know Tim at V-bike quite well. I was going to sell my V-bikes and buy a side beside ( Polaris). I had a friend who gave me a price I couldn't refuse. When I got it home a buddy came by and helped me unload it , then gave me an offer for it I couldn't refuse too. So it went from my trailer to his pick up in less than an hour.
I turned around and sent Tim an email and didnt get a reply , then sent another and still no reply. I tried the phone and got busy signals and finally got an answering machine and left a message and got no reply. So I figured he didn't need any more business. I still have the 250 and the 300 V-bike and no more than I use them they are still in good shape ,but I got the 250 out and immediatly broke the reverse shifter at the weld on the mount plate. Other than that no problems so far, I was going to upgrade to the new side beside V-bike shows on the web site but if they dont want to talk then I dont think I want to buy.
