Default Uprade items: suppliers and part numbers?

Hey guys I was looking for some advise.

I have a Cool Sportz 200 and Sunl 200. I want do do a little upgrading but am new so I was hoping that you could help. I have read about performance CDI, Coils, Air filters, jets and mufflers. That's were I would like to start.

If you dont mind where did you get yours? What was the item number or specific size? What are your sugestions?

I appreciate the help, thanks.

OK I have been looking and here is what I have found so far. What's your opinion?

I have found these two different plug numbers. Does anyone which would work better? Is the gap size right?
NGK plug #DR8ES-L
NGK plug #D8EA
Gap size .26in

Here is a number of a Uni Filter I found.
Uni filter # UP4182AST

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks

PS just to give you some more info.

I have a vertical air cooled engine with a PZ30 carb.

Sorry I forgot to put that in the original post.

Welcome to the forum carter262!

I have a Uni pod filter on all of my Chinese quads.. The 200 and 250 (PZ30 carb) use one with a 1.75" clamp dia and are 4" long.. I have also opened up the exhaust on the 250...

Stock these machines are jetted lean enough to hurt performance. With a new filter it gets worse...

Keihin makes jets that fit these carbs.. Give me some time today and I will look up the sizes I used.. I do know I used the stock jets from the 250 in the 200 carb.. so you could do that with what youve got..

If you pull the bottom of the carb off you can see the number on the side of the jet..

Ok checked the jets.

Main has no markings at all.
Pilot has "435" on the side.

I also stated looking at jet online and I have not been able to find a Kelhin jet that matches my Pilot Jet. The threads on mine are at the bottom and the replacements seem to be in the middle.

The carb is a HuaYang and appears to be identical to the PZ30 on my Cool Sports 200cc I don't have a micrometer to measure the intakes. Any suggestions?

Has anyone had the same problem with their jets? Any suggestions? Do you think the pictures are just wrong on the suppliers website?

Ive never seen a jet like that...gotta love the Chinese... you could always drill them out in small steps... do you know anyone with number 1-60 and 61-80 drill bit sets?
