Default Cylinder question

I have a 04 Lifan with the copy of the Honda rebel 250. I am currently doing a piston and cylinder swap. I got a great looking cylinder from an older Honda rebel 250. The question I have is the replacement cyl is much smaller in physical size the bore is the same just smaller as far as L X W than the original. I am concerned that it may create a over heating issue due to it being smaller. Am I thinking correctly or is this a non issue?

thanks in advanced for your replies!!

If it fits then Id use it..since the replacement is from a Honda...Id guess the copy had the added material on the outside..
