need help please

have a bad GY6 150(QMJ), getting a new motor, but the rear output shaft is shorter. Can i swap the shaft from the old to the new? new engine is a EG gy6 150. Thanks for any help I'm lost

It shouldnt be a problem.. i have swapped out a few different shafts in my 150's..
