Question Throttle stuck open

Hi,

I have a 250cc Shine Allroad with a Deni carb. I had the carb out because it was starting really hard after it had been sitting for about a year. I drained the gas out of the tank of the old gas. I put everything back and now it starts right up but the throttle is stuck open. Does anybody know where I can get the drawing on this carb because I'm quite sure I don't have the throttle linkage connected to the carb right.

Thanks in advance

Michael

take the slide out. that's the top part where the cable goes in to the carb. you'll see a short notch and a long notch. align the notches, as you will see when you look down in there, to where the slide goes all the way down inside the carb. there should be at least one notch inside the throat. make sure the long notch on the slide goes that way...then screw the lid back on and test your thumb throttle. that should do it.......have any questions, there's a lot of videos on youtube that'll walk you through it or we can post pics to help you out.

Welcome to the forum mbw4359 !

Like J94 said.. the slide is in wrong.. they go in 2 ways.. 1 lets the slide drop all the way in and the other way lets it slide in about 1/2 way..
