I bought new pz19 and aircleaner off ebay.. 110 taotao will only run under full choke.

could it have one of those gelpacs that need to dissolve or should i be hunting for a different issue?

Tore the carb out this afternoon and I guess I got in too big a hurry the other night... my carb gasket at the manifold was missing and the insulator between the carb and intake was broke in two.. reordered a new one tonite...

Guess it was sucking air... I'll update everyone when the new parts come in.

 

ya i was just about to say that its getting too much air from some place and i pas going to suggest an air leak. if you cannot find one and it still dosnt run properly, get a can of easy start or some sort of spray primer and while its running spray some around the seals of the carb to see if it revs higher/ lower and if it did you have an air leak in that area

 

New gasket arrived and once installed and tweaking of the carb adjustments it runs perrrfect... it purrssss.

to all others, look for an air leak when this happens..
