when i start my bashan 200cc it vibrates really bad and has a really loud rattleing comeing from the engine any idea?

 

have you checked the motor mounts? the bushings could be worn down to nothing. do you reckon it's mechanical? as in the engine knocking instead of rattling? hopefully the valves are not chattering. without a video for sound, i'm unsure. just a couple of shots in the dark.

. plenty of oil in crankcase? what's the oil smell like/look like? burnt or normal? start the engine and let it idle, take a close look at the motor mounts, the exhaust pipe, and other peripherals that can vibrate and make noise. don't hesitate to feel around with your gloved hands. just don't burn yourself. that'd suck. i'm sure we can narrow this down for you fairly quickly.

 

just started it got to keep the revs up as it wont idle and dies after a few seconds. seems theys oil appearing on the right foot plate so guessing theres a leak/its spitting

sounds like its coming from the crank case

 

could this be an easy fix or be a nightmare of a job?

 

well first figure out where exactly the noise is coming from because something kinda similar happened to mine except it was a more high pitched noise. i too off the exhaust, tapped it with a hammer a few times and a load of **** fell out and the noise disappeared. but if its definitely leaking oil then it cant be good anyway you look at it....
