Default 110 cc atv

Is it possible to remove the "security" module under the seat and have the atv still function? or would some rewiring need to be done?

why? is this quad for your kid? why take away a safety interlock? is the quad failing to start or does it have any other problems? or are you just wanting to take it off?

My son's atv has the module and it is left there. I have one also that I ride with him (a comical sight) and if the stop button gets pressed on either of the transmitters, both machines will stop, same goes for the remote start button, both will try to start. I really don't need the remote stuff on the one I ride.

That's really strange. Each remote is supposed to have a unique code. It is supposed to be like your garage door opener where one remote doesn't open two different doors on two different houses.

Anyway, just unplug the remote module on your quad. Everything other than the remote functions will still work the same except that the ignition switch will no longer be able to shut off the quad. You'll have to use the handlebar kill switch instead.

You can restore the ignition switch kill function by jumpering two pins on the remote module connector. I can help you find which two pins if you want to do this, but most just opt to use the handlebar kill switch...

I pulled mine out as well. It seems to run the starter for longer period than what it needs to be as well. Mine had a grey and a pink wire that neede a jumper on the modules harness.
