I know on my Tao Tao 110 it's a 10mm, metric tread I think. Use lock washers and locktite !

Are you talking about the nuts that hold the pipe to the engine? Or the blot/nut that hold the pipe to the frame? Or did the screws come of the engine(the one permanently studded into the engine)? (I Reread your post...)

The bolts are the ones at the end of the exhaust pipe that hold the pipe onto the engine. they go through the (flange or collar?) they some how vibrated out and the exhaust pipe is know hanging away from the engine and is very loud.

I have been searching for this info and found this http://familyfunpowersports.com/Part.../prod_243.html but this is a stud and I remember when the bolts where in they didnt look like that. but I was also noting the measurements 6 x 35 milimeters.

Ive seen both used.. and either will work.. you would need to find the correct length bolt so the bolt doesnt bottom out in the engine before the flange is tight.

The stud is easier and you could tighten it into the engine better this time..

6mm X 1.0 (thats a 6 millimeter bolt with a 1.0 millimeter pitch) with a length of 25mm seems to have worked and now my daughter is plying all around the yard on it!
