Default squeaky rear brake on Linhai

My back left brake on my Linhai 300 has squeaked since I purchased new. It squeaks when NOT engaged and seems to come from the pad and is not constant so I figure rotor may be involved also. Doesn't seem to affect performance and goes away at higher speeds so I have lived with it. Is there a relatively easy adjustment to loosen the pad a bit so it doesn't squeak. Brake cleaner or water only work for a short time. Thanks for any help/advice. I work with computers so please keep it simple for stupid (me).

Can I adjust this at the brake handle or do I need to adjust closer to the specific back wheel?

Pictures would help, for me at...

Disk or drum?

When you lift the wheels off the ground, do they spin free or drag like the brake is engaged?

Good idea on pictures. Will try to get some on here. These are hydraulic disc brakes which are supposedly "self adjusting." I know I can roll it in neutral but am unsure how freely the wheels move (or not). I'll try to jack it up and see.
