atv problem need advice

Default atv problem need advice

i have a 110cc atv that when i slow down to make a corner when i accelerate it makes a bad clicking sound like the chain is loose but the chain is tight i think something is shifting but dont know what any suggestions on what ti check the clicking sound is coming from the rear axle for sure just dont know what it could be any info would help thanks

It sounds like the clicking could be coming from your cv joint if it's making that noise when you are turning/accelerating (especially if the clicking increases as your speed does). Have you checked the cv boots to see if you've got any tears that could have allowed some dirt/gravel to shoot up into your cv joint and mess up some of the internals?

It is coming from the rear and there are no cv joints in the rear it sounds like its the chain but the chain is tight
