Default Roketa 250 ATV Won't Start

My 250 won't start. I have spark(not sure its enough), and fuel but it won't fire. Been working on it for months. Thought it was the CDI so I bought on and it was an AC one and it fried my wiring to the switch. Have a new switch now and it turns over and I have spark, wet spark plug, new premium gas. Help

Try adjusting your valves. Do you have good compression?

Default Thanks

Ron,
After finding this site and reading threads I assumed as much. I have been online tring to find out how to do it. My garage isn't heated so don't know when I might try it. Have not done a compression test yet.

I believe the motor in that thing is either a CN250 (single speed with reverse) or a CF250 (hi/lo with reverse). They are a close of the Honda 250 scooter motor. Here's how to adjust the valves on those types of motors.

Default Update

Ron,
Sorry I should have put up more info. My atv is a 2007 Roketa, 2x4, liquid cooled, 5 sp w/Rev. It looks like I have to remove the fuel tank and take the head off and then both valves and lifters can be seen.

That's a different motor, I believe. And those instructions I posted would not apply. If you could figure out what motor that is copied from, then we could google instructions on how to adjust your valves. Did it come with a manual by chance? I know, dumb question for a chinese product.

Can you post a good pic of the head? I know a handful of these chinese motors, so that might help.

Default Pitures

Ron,
Got the fuel tank off and removed valve cover and found timing mark I think. Found no gap when set on "T" mark. Adjusted to .o57 MM. What do you think?
Paul
How do I attach pictures? Can't figure it out.
