Default help on a baja 90 atv

I need help from someone please. Trying to get a Baja 90 running for my son. With a new battery i get no power to anything. No starter, no headlights, etc. So I thought it might be an ignition switch. But also when I started to look closer I noticed a wire hanging from the transmission right above the small sprocket. It's attached to the transmission but the other end looks like it was pulled out of somewhere. I tried to find where it might plug into but I can't seem to find it. Anyone got some helpful hints. Thanks in advance.

Is the wire slightly larger than most other wires on the quad and green? If so thats your ground wire.

Until I read the part about the wire my thoghts were 'blown fuse'.

The brown stripe is kinda unusual (not impossible). If it's the wire i'm thinking it is. It should be a bit thicker than most of the other wires on the quad and it is hooked to a bolt on the transmission/engine. The other end should go to the battery.
