Default throttle problem

260cc Liquid Cooled Daymak. When throttle is applied, quad boggs out and dies. Idles fine. What could be causing this? HELP!!

On the surface this sounds like a vacuum leak such as a vacuum line that was pulled loose or a bad gasket between the carb and intake.

Also could be from a dirty carb (plugged jet) or a misadjusted carb.

On rare occasions the valves being outta adjustment could cause this but it is also typically accompanied by the machine being hard to start.

Default Throttle problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not a mechanic but am pretty good with wrenches. How do I fix it? Do I take carb apart? Is there a trick? Some guidance would be much appreciated!! Thanks!!
