Chinese ATV parts needed
#3
The ATV is a 2007 made by Zhejiang Xiongtai
The parts look to be the common replacement commons used by all chinese atv manufactures.
I'm just looking for some parts dealers that are fast and reliable, and usually take Paypal..the few dealers I did find only take credit card, and they seem to take forever to get parts...if the parts even show up.
The bike looks just like this one..

I e-mailed that Kazuma site to see if their parts were covered with liability insurance.
They are not covered. That's a problem for me. A bad part could create all kinds of issues legal wise. It costs a little more for my parts but I feel better that I have proper backup for the parts. That's the problem with the internet anyone can play with or without knowledge.

i gotta ask, why the inquiry on covered parts? a dealer ain't gonna have insurance on their parts. are you talking about insurance on parts that are delivered? that'd be extra $ when you ordered it and you would have to stipulate that with the carrier and the dealer when ordering. that way you can guarantee you'll get the parts or insurance will pay for replacement parts if lost as long as you got it and the tracking number.

Liability insurance in the case of if the part fails you can take them to court??
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you wont find that, nor will anybody follow it through, a fault in a part that you fit yourself, the dealer will throw it back saying you didn't fit it correctly

Pitboard as far as a site that might sell parts for that machine you can try motopartsmax.com. They deal alot with Chinese models. I have no idea how they are as a company.
As someone who sells parts on the internet, the liability insurance is a very tricky thing. There are too many variables at play. Did the user install the part correctly, was it another part that failed causing the part you bought to fail, etc. In the end it's one of the risks when you ride.

When you buy from Honda there is a company and coverage that backs up that product. Internet sellers sell product from where??? They buy deals and move it into the market with no rules. I'm just saying buyer beware.
I buy through a Marshall Distributing dealer that has access to their line of Chinese parts that are liability insured. Makes me feel better that there is a solid name behind the line of parts.
