Default Rear axle wires

Among the trouble shooting of this thing i have stumbled across 3 wires coming out of the diff side of the rear axle. Green, Yellow, Black going into a connector up under the rear seat. The connector goes no ware someone zap strapped it up and i cannot find any spare wires or connectors anyware. Except for up under the front body but the connectors don't match and they are much to short anyway. With cutting all the covering off the wires and seeing all the butcher jobs im going to get some shrink wrap and do it right.

Well think i figured it out. It looks like at some point this thing had some sort of display with speedometer... now i need to find the display and put it back on. would be handy to have the neutral and reverse lights again. Seems to be hard to find info for this.

Never heard of anything electrical on a rear axle of any ATV.
Polaris made a ATV that the rear axle/diff can go from normal locked mode to limited slip (Turf Mode) with a press of a button for riding on manicured lawn without chewing them up.
Other then that,, sounds strange.
