ok this post is getting confusing... the first pic your showing a connector that im assuming goes to the regulator. The second pic of the cdi you need to make sure you have the right one for your machine. Their is a AC and DC version that use the same plug the only difference in the plugs is one has rounded corners and one has square. Im thinking that's why the connector was cut off the original owner thought he could just rewire it to work
