Question 2008 hi-bird QH-250 stw

hi have been fighting with this for months we had it running but was braking up when ran so we found out the coil was bad replaced it ran but the wire fell on the exhaust and burnt and I shut it off and bought new one replaced it and now it will not crank with the starter button but will if you jump the solenoid so replaced the kill switch and starter assembly still nothing so we replaced the solenoid still nothing so removed the plastic no broking wires at whit's end

ok, is the battery showing good voltage? is that inline fuse good? is the wiring on the back of the ignition plugged in tightly? please double check, if equipped, the red slider kill switch. is the neutral switch good? does the brake reservoir have a good level so to satisfy that interlock?
