Here are the photos of todays work. This is the stud mount I needed to move to get the body to fit.

Here is the HEI mount and it is also a heat sink.

And the battery box.

Body now fitting much better. Needed to also move the rear fuel tank mounts. Don't they know about jigs ?

To make steering lighter you just need to loosen up your steering rack a little bit.

This is how it's done on mine.

Thanks for the pics.. Nice looking quad..

I was in a couple of frame factories while in China 6 yrs ago.. very dirty and un organized places and as a bonus most of the welders welded with large clear safety glasses.. Was told most cant weld past their late 20's..

Thanks for the tip ! And it is sad that people would use other people like that.

Like I was told by a post on here, check all pins and the wire crimps! With my HEI working I just could not see why the OEM would not work ? The new CDI and coil will be here today and I will restart the testing.I also ordered the harness end to the CDI.Will make a replacement HD harness.

Your Welcome. Its China.. It was quite a learning experience..they use people like we use equipment..

Every electrical problem Ive had with my Chinese stuff was a bad connection of some kind or another..

Plug ends are here !

Crimped and soldered . And this is the way it should look. Also used 18ga. wire.

Now on to testing.

How did that new CDI work? I have the same machine and the same problem. It's been in the shop for three weeks and they cant fix it. They said the CDI's are backordered. Not sure of what the next step is.
