Ok yesterday I picked up a tao tao atv for my daughter. $50 why not lol. I also got a 250 polaris for $50 but that will be another thread. Anyway. The little atv hadn't been ran in 2 years and according to the owner it wouldn't start for them. Well the battery was dead. Bought a new one. Also bought a new spark plug (it was original), oil, and carb cleaner. I put the new battery in and changed the plug. It's cranks but won't start. I know the carb is most likely dirty and want to clean it. I can't figure out how to get the throttle cable out? I've unscrewed the cap piece and I'm stuck at that point. I've looked for awhile now and would like a step by step...FYI I've never cleaned a carb but I determine ed to get this thing running. We were told it's a 50 cc but it's not. I believe it's a 125 or 110 I'm not sure. Please don't hate on me I'm trying my hardest here. If I have directions I can do it.

 

Update...i got it all off and cleaned it and it runs great...she had so much fun!!
