Alright so I have a jet moto 250cc I have had it for a couple of months now. my boyfriend bought it from a guy who was too big for it, it ran amazingly good when I first got it, out on the dunes I lost some bolts for my carburetor(however you spell that haha) but I fixed that problem and it was running great, it sat for about 3 or 4 weeks and now it wont start, I have had the battery checked, its good, I changed the spark plug and no luck. I don't know anything about this quad or much about quads in general, and I do not want to start throwing parts at it and wasting my money on al that if its something simple, if you have any ideas of what could be my problem here please help me

welcome to the forum process of elimination does it have spark? pull plug and ground it to motor crank motor to see if it is bluish spark if good, spray shot of starting fluid in carb, does it start momentarily? if so then remove carb disassemble and clean with carb cleaner and compressed air use a twistee that paper is removed to poke thru every passage you can and blow out well, clean again and blow out again also the idle mixture screw on the side of carb should be removed as this is very small hole and prone to blockage turn that screw in til it stops (just be gentle as it stops) counting number of turns that it goes in so after cleaning you will know how far out it needs to be be sure to look in the hole for a spring and may even have a washer and o-ring should be able to find youtube vids to help out pretty simple carbs
