Yeah I should of just went with a good one, but I wasn't sure if I really needed it or not so I just got it as backup. But now I ended up using it so I should probably just return it and go with a good one.

That would be the best and get yourself a car battery charger. Here's an inexpensive one from harbor Freight. $29.99 and then download a 20% coupon from google.

UPDATE: Turns out, 2 of the batteries I bought from auto zone were both bad. So I finally got a good battery and she was running on her own. NOW: I have been starting it daily and taking it for a little drive. I went to start it today and couldn't get it started. Engine would turn and turn and nothing. So I pulled the spark plug and tested it up against the engine block and wasn't getting any spark so I went and got a new plug cause the one in there looked terrible so I assumed that was the issue. Got the new spark and still nothing, but if I hold the plug a little bit off the spot I'm trying to ground to, I can get a spark between the engine block and the tip of the spark plug. Any idea what is wrong??

Either clean your ground connections or add another one to your engine block.

What ground connections? I'm sorry I really don't know much about what I'm doing lol. Learning as I go.

Just to clarify, I am getting spark between the ground electrode of the spark plug and my engine block. I am not getting spark between the Center electrode and the ground electrode of the spark plug

Also, without a plug in, I can get a spark from my engine block to the metal spark plug cap

Then that would def be a spark plug. I know you tried a new one, but do you have another one like from your lawnmower or something? Just to test spark.

Also, ground connections will be any wire connecting directly to the frame or engine, etc.
