Hi all!
New to the forum, and about to purchase a TaoTao Cheetah with the 110CC engine for my kid. I am glad I found this forum!

I have a couple of questions before going ahead with the purchase:
(1) anything specific I should ask and look out for when picking up the ATV? I will be buying from a local dealer, all assembled.
(2) what are worthwhile upgrades for the engine or the Quad in general? The dealer has suggested an upgraded battery from them for $35. Anything else?

The dealer has also suggested running non-Ethanol fuel. What do you guys think about that, worth it? I do have a source close by, so it would not be a big problem for us to do that.

Any other tips or suggestions pre-purchase would be very welcome.

Question your dealer about warranty and ask around to see if other people have had warranty done. The biggest issue i have seen with new ones is the dealers refuse to do warranty.
I would not do any upgrades until you see the short comings of the machine.
I run ethanol blend fuel in everything with no issues.. I run a little water eliminator in teh winter and thats it.
