Default ATA 125-F1 screeching noise

Hi all!
Hopefully somebody will be able to help - issue with 2 months old TaoTao ATA 125-F1.
After the engine is warmed up, every once in a while while driving there is a very loud screeching sound coming from the engine. Bringing the quad to a stop will also stop the noise. We can start running it then without the noise for a few minutes until the noise comes back, requiring another stop. Not that the engine does not need to be turned off for the noise to stop - just stopping the quad with the engine still running will take care of it.
Any ideas from the forum? Any help / suggestion is highly appreciated!

I would suspect bearing failure.. you are going to have to try and narrow down the area where the noise is coming from.

Thanks Zrock!
The noise is coming from the engine block, transmission area. Sounds like the right side, but can't be 100% sure.

It actually goes away when just changing gears, don't have to come to a stop. After the noise starts - as soon as it's shifted up or down, the noise goes away.
Hope anybody can help!
