I have a hammerhead gts 150 that wont start the motor spins but wont turn over any help would be appreciated

 

Firstly, what do you mean by "wont turn over"? As this literally means the crankshaft doesn't move when the starter is spinning. If it is this, either the gear teeth between starter and engine have stripped or the one way clutch on the crankshaft has gone.

 

when you turn the key the starter will turn but the but the motor wont catch it sounds like a lawnmower does when the choke isn't on.
